Why?

When JAVA was fairly new in 1996 we converted two games into JAVA applets, just in order to get a hands-on experience using this new language.

This applet was converted from a Visual Basic 3 application which appeared in an "edutainment" (education + entertainment) application which we developed in 1993-1995.
vdQix
This applet was converted from a C++ appliaction written during some rainy days in the summer of 1993 in order to test the very first version of MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes).
vdTraffic
This applet was written from scratch in 2000 entirely for the fun of it!
